Singapore: 5925 MHz-6425 MHz Is About To Be Allocated For Wi-Fi Use
On May 12, 2023, the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore issued a notice that IMDA will allocate 500 MHz of spectrum in the 6 GHz frequency band for Wi-Fi use in Singapore.
IMDA will amend its Regulations to allocate the radio frequency spectrum 5925 MHz – 6425 MHz for Wi-Fi use and expect Wi-Fi 6E-enabled equipment and devices to be commercially available in Singapore by 3Q 2023.
