Canada ISED Publishes RSS-102 SPR-002 Issue 2

On Oct 4, 2022, The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada has published Supplementary Procedure SPR-002, issue 2 of RSS 102--- ’’SPR-002---Supplementary Procedure for Assessing Compliance of Equipment Operating from 3 kHz to 10 MHz with RSS-102’’, which replaces SPR-002, issue 1.
SPR-002, issue 2 sets out methods for assessing compliance of equipment operating in the frequency range from 3 kHz to 10 MHz with the radio frequency (RF) exposure limits.
This Procedure has been in force. However, a transition period of 12 months following its publication will be provided, within which certification using the requirements of SPR-002, issue 2 or issue 1, will be accepted. After this period, only applications for certification of equipment using SPR-002, issue 2, will be accepted.
