Dominican Republic INDOTEL Releases Operating Conditions For 5925-7125 MHz
Recently, the Instituto Dominicano de las Telecomunicaciones (INDOTEL) of Dominican Republic released Resolution No. 082-2022 to establish the operating conditions for indoor-use low power equipment operating in 5925-7125 MHz (6 GHz).
The main contents are as follow:
1. For indoor access points operating in 5925~7125 MHz, the maximum e.i.r.p. should not exceed 30 dBm.
2. For Very Low Power devices that maximum e.i.r.p. lower than 14 dBm, it can be used for outdoors applications.
3. For client-type devices operating under the control of an indoor access point in the 5925-7125 MHz, the maximum e.i.r.p. should not exceed 24 dBm.
4. For indoor access points and fixed client-type devices operating in 5925-7125 MHz is prohibited in automobiles, trains, ships, airplanes, or unmanned aircraft. Except for large aircraft flying above 3000 meters and only indoor access points operating in the 5925-6425 MHz.
