Vietnam MIC Issues Public Consultation on EMC Regulations for Wireless Audio Equipment in the Frequency Range 25MHz to 2000MHz

On February 9, 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of Vietnam launched a public consultation for the National Technical Regulation (QCVN 130:2022/BTTTT) on EMC for Wireless Audio Equipment in the frequency range 25MHz to 2000MHz.
The definition of wireless audio equipment in the draft regulation QCVN 130:2022/BTTTT is as follows:
A wireless audio equipment is a device that uses radio waves to transmit sound over short distances. Some typical types of wireless audio equipments: wireless microphone, wireless speaker (with radio transceiver), wireless headset, wireless combo microphone/speaker.
The draft also specifies EMC test measurements, test methods, limits and quality standards for equipments mentioned above.
All parties concerned can submit comments and suggestions to MIC before April 9, 2022.
