Peru MTC Opens Public Consultation for Cellular Devices with FM Radio

On December 23th, 2021, the Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) of Peru has released Ministerial Resolution No. 1328-2021-MTC/01.03 to open public consultation. The main content of this consultation is about to establish an obligation requirement that cellular phones with FM receivers maintain this functionality active, and would permit the population to access FM broadcasting on cellular telephones for recommendations, advice, and other information associated with emergencies or disasters.
All parties concern can submit comments and suggestions before February 9th, 2022.
