Kuwait CITRA Announces Reduced Working Hours

On January 12, 2022, the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) of Kuwait announced that due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19, CITRA decided to reduce 50% of their employees on duty and reduce the working hours to 4 hours daily (9:00 AM - 13:00 PM) only.
Due to the reduction in working hours and manpower, the lead time for CITRA type approval will increase, with a 4-week delay expected for ongoing or future projects.
