KOREA--New Technical Requirement for 5G Radio Devices is Effective

The National Radio Research Agency in South Korea (RRA) has announced the new technical requirement of 5G radio devices which will be applied to products used only in a certain area (building, etc.). This new technical requirement has been effective since Oct. 12, 2021.
1. 28GHz band: divided to 2 frequency bands range from 1:
(1)26.5GHz ~ 29.5GHz -> 26.5GHz ~ 28.9GHz: revised for current requirement;
(2)28.9GHz ~ 29.5GHz: new band, only used within a certain area.
2. 4.7GHz band (4720MHz ~ 4820MHz): new band, only used within a certain area.
