Peru MTC Updates National Frequency Allocation Plan and Opens 6 GHz Band

On April 30th, 2021, the RF regulator of Peru-Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones (MTC) has published its updated Plan Nacional de Atribución de Frecuencias (PNAF).
Some key changes as the following:
1.The 470 - 698 MHz frequency band has been allocated to provide Internet connectivity in rural areas;
2.1200 MHz of spectrum has been allocated in the 26 GHz band for inclusion in future spectrum allocations to 5G network providers;
3.1200 MHz of spectrum between 5925 and 7125 MHz has been allocated for the future use of Wi-Fi 6E.
