Costa Rica SUTEL Publishes Updated National Frequency Plan

On April 30th, 2021, the RF regulator of Costa Rica-Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUTEL) has published its Plan Nacional de Atribución de Frecuencias (PNAF).
The major changes include the following:
1.Expanding the 900 MHz band for unlicensed use;
2.Opening of the 5875-5925 MHz and 5925-7125 MHz bands for unlicensed use, with max EIRP of 30 dBm;
3.Opening of the 76-81 GHz band for unlicensed use by vehicle radar products.
