Afghanistan Launched 4G Spectrum Allocation Discussion

Recently, ATRA, the Afghan telecommunications regulator, officially released a public discussion paper on spectrum utility, which covers the frequency allocation of 4G services and the allocation mechanism of telecommunications service providers.

Relevant departments said that all telecom service providers will be invited to participate in the first meeting to exchange and discuss related issues. The discussion was initiated by ARTA foreign technical experts, trying to meet the market demand, while creating an efficient and reasonable development environment and expansion conditions for domestic LTE business.
