Holland Will Auction 5G Spectrum in 2019

It is reported that the Ministry of economic planning in Holland in 2019 launched the national spectrum auction, involving 700MHz, 1400MHz and 2100MHz band 4G/5G spectrum.

The government of Holland said the new licence will be valid for 20 years (2020-2040 years), mainly for areas with poor coverage of domestic mobile broadband. Henk Kamp, the economy minister, said the nationwide availability of spectrum auctions would boost network business rates and lay the foundation for continued growth in Holland's future digital economy.
