T-Mobile Applies Temporary Permission for 3.5GHz Testing

T-Mobile has recently applied to the FCC for a temporary special license (STA) to test 3550-3700MHz band using equipment provided by Ericsson and NOKIA. The prototype device will use 20MHz bandwidth and the transmit indicator is 20MOW7W. The test sites include Las Vegas, Dallas, Richardson and Texas.

According to the FCC database, T-Mobile had earlier this year to apply a similar license, 3.5GHz test in Washington, but because the test site for located in the military zone, the navy has not passed, so the application was rejected.
