Indonesian Ministry of Industry Will Add a Number of Audio-visual Products to the SNI Certification control Area

1.Directorate of Electronic and Telematic Ministry of Industry WTO TBT reported in August 2, 2017, a number of audio-visual products will be added into the SNI 04-6253-2003 specification, must ensure that the products comply with the specification and mark SNI mark before the import companies around the world.

2. Major product projects are as follows:

①TV below 42 inches;

②Portable video player;

③VCD/DVD/BD player;

④Car audio and video equipment;

⑤Radio Receiver;

⑥Audio power amplifier;

⑦Active speaker;

⑧Console video game;

⑨Television set top box.

3.The above notice will come into effect in 6 months.
