China Revises Spectrum Allocation for Wireless Devices
The transport and Information Department revised the spectrum allocation list released in February 2017 to increase the spectrum of low power Internet connected devices, low power coastal telecommunications, wireless frequency identification systems and mobile broadband services. The proposed amendments are based on international technical standards to promote market development and meet consumer demand. A summary of the proposed amendments is as follows:
1.To amend the limited frequency table, the newly announced mobile broadband business added frequency band added to the "frequency allocation table".
2.Increase 920MHz~925MHz and 926MHz~928MHz two frequency bands, used in Internet of things equipment and seaside telecommunication mark. Modified frequency bands used by radio frequency identification systems.
