Djibouti - Type Approval Scheme Restoration

Djibouti's cultural communication unit (MCPT) has resumed its type approval program. In 2013, MCPT shelved all types of authentication applications due to planned changes to its spectrum management system. The authority said it would not issue a type approval certificate for the time being.

With regard to the approval scheme for recovery type, the following contents can be confirmed:

·This process is only clerical work;

·No samples required;

·The certificate is valid for 5 years;

·Foreign manufacturers can continue to approve;

·The estimated time of delivery is 3-4 weeks;

·No label required.
