Qatar Launches Automatic Online Frequency Management System

Communications Authority (CRA) on Qatar after the launch of the online automatic frequency management system in LS telecom. The system enables about 180 different spectrum configurations, assignments, and licensing workflows to automate to support the updated spectrum licensing framework and spectrum charging policies for July 2015. The electronic spectrum services portal, compatible with computers and mobile devices, provides data entry facilities for frequency licensing applicants. Users can apply for new licenses online, renew, modify and cancel licenses, and also perform online payment services.
