BT and GPS Products Were Exempted for ISRAEL MOC Approval

Israel local news, BT or GPS products determine not to apply to the local certification, before actually had this provision, but the Customs has not received the relevant notice, until recently (last week), the customs have been officially notified when no longer required imported BT/GPS products provide MOC certificate.

Other products such as Wi-Fi, 2.4G, Zigbee and SRD are not exempt from this exemption.

The following is advice from the local agent:

·The aim of the MOC to reach this point that BT & GPS will be exempt from the regulations started 2 years ago.

·On 9/2015, the Ministry of laws published at the 1st time an announcement related to BT & GPS waiver.

·The proper announcement from the Customs chief engineer to all of the customs workers is finally made, not to ask for MOC certificates for BT devices and /or for GPS anymore.

·Now, MOC certificates for BT only devices and/or GPS only devices are not needed any more.

·Please note that, that waiver is not relevant for non BT devices (like other mice & KBs).
