CTIA MINO OTA Test Plan

As of April 1, 2017, CTIA MINO OTA Test Plan for MIMO Downlink Version 1.1 has became mandatory for Certification Testing.

CTIA OTA test plan for LTE 2x2 Downlink MIMO Over-the-Air Performance Revision 1.1 was released on Aug., 2016 which defined the mandatory date is on April 1st, 2017. As for PTCRB certification, its requirement is not dependant on the NAPRD03 version, but complies with the submission date of PTCRB certification request.

The test is called as “MIMO Average Radiated SIR Sensitivity (MARSS)”, which is required for the bands listed as following: LTE FDD 2 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 12 / 13 / 14 / 17 / 25 / 26 / 30, and TDD 41

And this test constraints all devices’ dimension less than 30 cm or antenna spacing in the EUT equal or less than 1 wavelength.
