India May Sell 3300MHz and 3400MHz Bands

Local media reports, India's Ministry of Telecommunications (DoT) will be held in October this year, a new round of spectrum auctions to assess.

It is said that the auction involves the band is the most suitable for the development of 5G technology 3300MHz and 3400MHz, each band to sell 100MHz spectrum. DoT will consult the TRAI on the price issue, but usually the higher the frequency band, the lower the reserve price.

In the previous auction, 700MHz spectrum failed to sell. DoT consider the sale of all of the spectrum, together with the 2016 auction, a total of 1380MHz.
