Serbia Opens Wi-Fi 6E Frequency Band 5945-6425 MHz

The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) of Serbia announced the implementation of Serbia's Radio Frequency Band Allocation Plan of 2024 (Official Gazette of RS, No. 9/24), which includes Wi-Fi 6E (5945-6425 MHz) in the permitted frequency bands of Serbia. According to the regulation, the requirement for the opened band 5945-6425 MHz must comply with ECC Decision (20)01 and standard EN 303 687:
1. Low Power Indoor (LPI) WAS/RLAN devices
a) Restricted to indoor use only
b) Maximum mean e.i.r.p. for in-band emissions: 23 dBm
2. Very Low Power (VLP) WAS/RLAN devices
a) Allowed indoors and outdoors (The use of drones is prohibited)
b) Maximum mean e.i.r.p. for in-band emissions: 14 dBm
