Colombia ANE Opens Public Consultation on the Use for 6GHz

To follow up MRT news from December 9, 2022, the Agencia Nacional del Espectro (ANE) of Colombia recently published a public consultation for Very Low Power (VLP) and Standard Power (SP) applications in the 6 GHz frequency band.

The main purpose of the consultation is to lift the restriction on indoor use under the current regulation, established by No. 000737 of 2022 on November 18, and to permit the use of unlicensed outdoor wireless access systems.

All concerned parties can submit comments and suggestions before October 9th, 2024.
