Philippines NTC Issue certificate Renewal Requirements about WiFi 6E

On 23 September 2024, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in Philippines issued a new Memorandum Circular.

As per this new memorandum, all Type Acceptance Certificates or Grants of Equipment Conformity issued before the effectivity of NTC MC No. 002-07-2024 (20 July 2024) for equipment intended to operate in the 6 GHz band in the future must be updated. 

The certificate number of the modified certificate will remain the same as the original NTC certificate.

This Memorandum Circular has taken effect from the date of publication.
