India TEC Extends ILAC Test Report Acceptance for Telecom Equipment

The Department of Telecommunications (TEC) has extended the acceptance of ILAC-accredited test reports from non-border sharing countries until December 31, 2024, under the MTCTE scheme.

Products / Certification Phases / Mandatory Date:

•        4G Base Stations – Phase III (Mandatory from August 1, 2024)

•        SIM Modules – Phase IV (Mandatory from August 1, 2024)

•        VHF UHF Radio Equipment – Phase IV (Mandatory from August 1, 2024)

•        5G Base Stations – Phase V (Mandatory from October 1, 2024)

•        E-band Radio Relay Systems – Phase V (Mandatory from July 1, 2024)

•        Hypervisor Systems – Phase V (Mandatory from October 1, 2024)

Reports must be less than two years old at the time of submission on the MTCTE portal.
