Jordan TRC Issue New Type Approval Regulation

Recently, the Telecommunications Regulation Commission (TRC) in Jordan issued a new regulation introducing updates to the type approval process. This regulation took effect on September 15th, 2024.

The key changes to the type approval process are as follows:

1.    The validity of the approval is now 1 year.

2.    The label must include the following details: model number, brand, manufacturer name, and IMEI number for cellular devices.

3.    Renewal can be submitted up to 3 months before the expiry date.
