Eswatini ESCCOM Allow the Use of Frequency Band 5925-6425 MHz
In October 2024, the Eswatini (formerly named Swaziland) Communications Commission (ESCCOM) issued Notice No. 10/2024, accompanied by the 'Guidelines on the Use of License-Exempt Spectrum Bands in Eswatini, 2024.'
One of the key purposes of the guidelines is to provide guidance on the use of license-exempt spectrum bands for wireless access systems (WAS/RLAN) in Broadband Fixed Wireless Access (BFWA) applications, to ensure that users of these bands do not experience harmful interference. BFWA in the 6 GHz band will be permitted subject to the power limits shown in the table below.
