Egypt NTRA Launches eSIM Technology
On December 5, 2024, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt issued a press release announcing the launch of eSIM technology in Egypt's market. This follows the completion of all necessary technical tests by the four mobile operators to enable the service. The eSIM technology is one of the latest digital innovations in the telecom field, aimed at improving the user experience in Egypt.
