North Macedonia Issued Regulation for Radio Frequency Usage

On March 21, 2025, North Macedonia’s Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC) introduced a new regulation allowing the use of certain radio frequencies without the need for a usage permit. The regulation aligns with international standards, particularly those set by the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).

The regulation outlines which frequencies can be used freely and specifies the conditions under which they can be used. It takes effect immediately upon its publication.
