Armenia Expands 5G Network with New Frequency Allocations

On April 2, 2025, Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) granted radio frequency usage licenses to a telecom provider “Viva Telecom Armenia LLC” for the 2300-2350 MHz and 2350-2400 MHz bands. This decision aims to develop 5G NR technology networks for public mobile communications.

The telecom provider will roll out 5G NR services in key urban areas, airports, and along major highways, with all obligations to be met within 3 to 7 years.
