Mongolia CRC Launched 5G Network

On May 16, 2025, the Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia announced the 5G Network had been officially launched on May 15, 2025, and issued relevant operating licenses to the local service providers.

Starting from 2023, Mongolia has gradually established supporting policies and regulatory systems to lay a solid foundation for the deployment of 5G networks. The CRC emphasized that the 5G network will bring a revolution not only in high-speed internet, but also across various sectors such as telecommunications, industry, education, healthcare, and mining.
