Indonesia Mandates SNI Compliance for Audio/Video Products

From June 2, 2025, Indonesia requires audio/video products to comply with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) IEC 62368-1:2014, as mandated by Ministry of Industry Regulation No. 75 of 2024, issued on November 13, 2024. Covered products include:

·         LCD and CRT TVs (up to 55 inches; excludes OLED, QLED, QNED, Mini LED)

·         DVD and Blu-Ray players

·         Car audio head units (excluding fully imported vehicles)

·         Active standalone speakers

·         TV set top boxes
