Indonesia Opened Public Consultation on 2.6 GHz Spectrum Use for 4G/5G
Indonesia’s Ministry of Communications and Digital (KOMDIGI) has opened a public consultation on a draft regulation governing the use of the 2.6 GHz spectrum band (2500–2690 MHz) to support the deployment of 4G and 5G networks. The proposal includes provisions for national frequency licensing (IPFR) and flexible adoption of IMT-standard technologies.
The consultation is open for public feedback until May 26, 2025.
