Morocco ANRT Launched 5G Call for Competition

On July 11, 2025, the Agence Nationale de Réglementation des Télécommunications (ANRT) of Morocco issued a press release announcing the launch of a call for competition for granting licenses to establish and operate telecommunications networks using 5th generation mobile technologies.

5G is characterized by high-speed transmission, low latency suited for real-time applications, and the ability to meet the specific needs of industries such as transportation, healthcare, and agriculture. This initiative aims to equip the Kingdom of Morocco with the latest mobile communication technologies to support its economic and social development.
