ISED updated standard specification for Radio Local Area Network (RLAN) Devices Operating in the 5925-7125 MHz Band
On October 11, 2024, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) published RSS-248, issue 3, Radio Local Area Network (RLAN) Devices Operating in the 5925-7125 MHz Band, sets out the certification requirements for licence-exempt RLAN devices operating in the 5925-7125 MHz frequency band and replaces RSS-248, issue 2, dated December 20, 2022.

Argentina- ENACOM Updated Resolution 280/2022 about Testing Standard for Low Power Devices
On March 8th, 2022, The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) in Argentina has issued Resolution 280/2022 which updated the testing standard for Low Power Devices and included the new low frequency band: 0.490MHz-1.705MHz, and 1.705MHz-30MHz.

BSMI Issued an Amendment to the "Relevant Inspection Regulations for the Inspection of Electric Pencil Sharpeners and Other 21 Commodities"
On January 22, 2022, the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) in Taiwan issued an amendment to the "Relevant Inspection Regulations for the Inspection of Electric Pencil Sharpeners and other 21 Commodities". This regulation shows that BSMI will adopt the latest version of electrical safety specifications, electromagnetic compatibility and related inspection standards CNS 15598-1 (safety) and CNS 15936 (EMC).
