Vietnam MIC Draft Regulations for LPWAN

Vietnam MIC has drafted National Technical Regulations for LPWAN devices. MIC currently has no specific regulation for LPWAN products, including LoRa (Long Range) and LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide-Area Network) products.

Details of the regulation are as follows:

The new regulation is equivalent to EN 300 220-1 v3.1.1 test method and ETSI EN 300 220-2 v3.2.1 limits

Frequency band 920MHz – 922.5MHz

Max 306.2 mW ERP (500mW EIRP)

The equipment must use the technique below to reduce spurious emission:

Duty cycle must not exceed 10% (for Access station / Gateway) and not exceed 1% (for Sensor / End point)
