Vietnam MIC Issues Circular 22/2022/TT-BTTTT

On 29th November 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) in Vietnam has officially released Circular No. 22/2022/TT-BTTTT with accompanying standard QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT - “National technical regulation on electromagnetic compatibility for radio communication equipment”.
Highlight as follows:
1.The Circular 22/2022/TT-BTTTT and standard QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT shall take effect from 1st May 2023;
2.Circular No. 21/2014/TT-BTTTT and Standard QCVN 18:2014/BTTTT dated December 16, 2014 issued by the Minister of Information and Communications expires from 1st July 2023;
3.From 1st July 2023, imported and domestically produced radio communication terminal equipment (under the scope of regulation in QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT) imported and manufactured in the country must meet the requirements. prescribed in QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT.
