SDPPI has passed out a draft that there will no longer be an expiration date on certificates. However, applicants will still need to re-certificate their certificates every 3 years to continue importing products. In addition, certificate holders must be a local Indonesian company, and both new and old companies are required to register on the new system, Online Single Submission (OSS) system, by themselves to get a Business Registration Number (NIB). The effective date of this regulation started on August 9th, 2018.
