Britain Will Launch the First Batch of 5G Testing in Some Cities

The UK government announced on September 4 that it will launch the first large-scale fifth-generation mobile communication technology (5G) test project in the West Midlands region of the UK to prepare for the future establishment of a 5G network nationwide.

According to the press release issued by the Ministry of Digital, Cultural, Media and Sports of the United Kingdom, the government will set up relevant test platforms based on the three cities of Birmingham, Coventry and Wolverhampton in the West Midlands to establish a comparison.
