5G The Second Phase of the Test is Completed for the Trial Commercial Layout

2017 China 5G second phase of technical testing is over.

Experts from the IMT-2020 (5G) Propulsion Group said in September that the third phase of the test specification had been drafted and that the specifications based on the NSA (Non-Isolated Networking) architecture and the SA (Independent Networking) architecture were phased in. It is reported that the third phase of testing will start in 2018 the first quarter.

According to the 5G trial arrangement released by the IMT-2020 (5G) propulsion team, starting from 2018, 5G field trials will focus more on operator-led. China Mobile has launched 5G field test this year. China Mobile 5G system design mainly from three aspects to consider: First, a unified and flexible 5G new air interface; second is user-centric network; third is service-oriented cloud network. China Unicom will promote 5G technology verification in three phases to meet 5G commercial requirements: First, validate the overall capabilities of the 5G pre-commercial prototype from 2017 to 2018 during the system prototyping phase. Second, from 2018 to 2019 large-scale field verification stage to verify 5G commercial capabilities and networking solutions. Third, from 2019 to 2020 commercial trial stage, 5G scale deployment above 1000 stations will be completed in all key cities in China, and 5G commercial trial will be promoted. China Telecom 5G deployment of the overall plan is 2016 ~ 2018, completed the network architecture and key technology research and proof of concept, and proposed 4G to 5G evolution of technical programs and to carry out some of the key technical laboratory tests and field experiments. 2019 to build a number of pre-commercial scale network, to achieve the goal of 5G business by 2020.
