Brazil ANATEL enforces the Suspension in regard to Certificate Renewal

The Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes (ANATEL) in Brazil has recently informed OCDs about the enforcement of the suspension of certificate renewals, as regulated in Resolution No.715.

Previously, ANATEL did not actively cancel certificates that had surpassed their expiration date. However, it has now started strictly enforcing the resolution that prohibits the renewal of Certificates of Homologation (CoHs) that have been expired for over 180 days.

Under this new enforcement, certificates that are expired for over 180 days will require a new project application, including new testing and a new ANATEL ID.
