Malaysia MCMC Released Class Assignment No.1 of 2025

On January 20, 2025, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) released 'Class Assignment No. 1 of 2025', while also revoking 'Class Assignment No. 1 of 2024', which was issued on March 5, 2024.

The new document adds a note to remind applicant that the class assignment of Fixed- Satellite Service (FSS) Earth Station and Ultra - Wideband (UWB) Communication Device operating in the 3400 MHz to 3700 MHz frequency band will be cancelled, effective from June 1, 2025. The usage of any equipment and devices in the aforementioned frequency band shall not be allowed from the above-mentioned date.

Class Assignment No. 1 of 2025 shall come into effect from the date of its publication.
