Vietnam Updates the Bands for Wireless Charging and Wi-Fi 6 GHz

 On March 31, 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Vietnam issued Circular No. 01/2025/TT-BKHCN, amending technical regulations under Circular No. 08/2021/TT-BTTTT. The new circular will take effect on May 15, 2025.

Key changes as below:

·         The frequency band for wireless charging devices has been updated to 315 - 400 kHz, replacing the previous ranges of 326.5 - 340 kHz and 353 - 373.5 kHz.

·         The 5925 - 6425 MHz band has been officially added for Wi-Fi 6 GHz (WLAN/RLAN) applications.
