Iraq CMC Opens Public Consultation on Draft SRD and UWB Regulations
On April 13, 2025, the Communications and Media Commission (CMC) of Iraq launched a public consultation on its draft regulation concerning Short-Range Devices (SRDs) and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologies.
A key update in the proposed regulation is the introduction of the 5925–6425 MHz band.
All interested parties are invited to submit comments and suggestions to the CMC by May 13, 2025.
