Azerbaijan Introduced New Energy Efficiency Standards

On April 10, 2025, Azerbaijan introduced new standards for energy efficiency in household products. Approved by the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), these standards include AZS EN 12102-1:2025, AZS EN 12900:2025, AZS IEC 62552-1:2025, and AZS EN 14511-3:2025. They specifically address the efficiency, safety, and energy performance of equipment used for heating, cooling, and technological refrigeration, such as air conditioners, liquid cooling systems, heat pumps, and electrically operated compressor dryers.
