On April 23, 2025, the Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) in Paraguay issued Resolución Directorio N°1035/2025, announcing the authorization of the 5925-6425 MHz frequency band for low-power Wireless Access Systems.

Indonesia currently requires emission testing under CISPR 32 as part of the DJID certification process, and plans to officially require immunity testing under the CISPR 35 standard in the near future. The exact implementation date is yet to be confirmed.As of today (May 21, 2025), immunity testing remains optional and not yet mandatory. MRT will continue monitoring the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

Recently, the Regulatory Authority (RA) of Bermuda issued BLUETOOTH & WI-FI EXEMPTIONS MEMO, announced that as of February 14, 2025, individual applications for the type approval of radio devices operating solely on Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi frequencies are no longer required. Nevertheless, manufacturers and importers remain responsible for ensuring that such devices fully comply with all applicable technical and regulatory standards established by the following governing bodies including markings/labels for lawful operation within Bermuda:

On April 29, 2025, the Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes (ARCEP) in Burkina Faso issued Decision N°2025-011/ARCEP/CR defining the categories and setting the conditions of use of stations composed exclusively of low-power, short-range devices. It is noteworthy that ARCEP has authorized the use of the 5945-6425 MHz frequency band for Wireless Access Systems and Radio Local Area Networks (WAS/RLAN).

On April 24, 2025, the National Commission for State Regulation of Electronic Communications, Radio Frequency Spectrum and Postal Services (NCEC) of Ukraine announced the completion of the 700 MHz spectrum release from television broadcaster transmitters in western Ukraine. Once fully released, the 700 MHz spectrum will support the development of mobile networks, including 4G and 5G. The full release is expected to be completed by December 2026.

On March 28, 2025, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) issued a Government Gazette, accompany with public consultation about Draft Regulations on the Dynamic Spectrum Access and Opportunistic Spectrum Management in the Innovation Spectrum Frequency Ranges 3800-4200 MHz and 5925-6425 MHz.

On April 10, 2025, Azerbaijan introduced new standards for energy efficiency in household products. Approved by the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), these standards include AZS EN 12102-1:2025, AZS EN 12900:2025, AZS IEC 62552-1:2025, and AZS EN 14511-3:2025. They specifically address the efficiency, safety, and energy performance of equipment used for heating, cooling, and technological refrigeration, such as air conditioners, liquid cooling systems, heat pumps, and electrically operated compressor dryers.

On March 1, 2025, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Oman announced the allocation of the 26 GHz frequency band for experimental and developmental use in 5G and 6G technologies.
