On April 12, 2025, the Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications (RATEL) of Serbia implemented amendments to the Radio Frequency Allocation Plan. This update optimizes the management and use of radio frequencies for various communication services, in alignment with international regulations.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology has issued Circular 02/2025/TT-BKHCN, titled "Radio Frequency Channel Allocation Planning for Fixed Services in the 71-76 GHz and 81-86 GHz Bands." This regulation governs the allocation of radio frequency channels in these specific bands for fixed services, aiming to optimize high-speed, point-to-point communication systems, including telecommunication backhaul and microwave networks.

The Telecommunications Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) has recently updated its documentation requirements for type approval application. Effective immediately, all TRC applications must include a declaration of importer information. Applications missing this information will not be processed, and TRC certificates will not be issued.

On April 2, 2025, Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) granted radio frequency usage licenses to a telecom provider “Viva Telecom Armenia LLC” for the 2300-2350 MHz and 2350-2400 MHz bands.

In early 2025, Mexico published a draft regulation for a new agency, the Agencia de Transformación Digital y Telecomunicaciones (ATDT), aimed at restructuring the telecommunications regulatory framework.

On April 7, 2025, the National Centre for Communication Security (NCCS) of India announced that Optical Network Terminals (ONT) and Optical Line Terminals (OLT) will be under Voluntary Security Certification (VSC) until August 31, 2025. Starting September 1, 2025, mandatory certification for compliance with ITSAR under the Communication Security Certification (ComSec) Scheme will be required for ONT and OLT.

On April 9, 2025, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) issued a document stating that they are currently experiencing technical issues with their online type approval system, which has adversely impacted the processing of type approval applications. For now, ICASA's IT division is addressing the issue as a matter of urgency. However, delays in the issuance of type approval certificates are expected as a result. On March 20, 2025, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) finalized new telecommunications standards and instruments, including the “Disability Standard 2025” and seven technical standards, such as the “Telecommunications (Voice Performance Requirements for Customer Equipment – AS/CA S004) Technical Standard 2025”. The “Telecommunications Labelling Notice (TLN) 2025” introduces updated labelling and record-keeping rules for customer equipment and cabling.
