On 21st December 2022, the Standard of Industrial and Research Institute in Malaysia issued Announcement Ref. No.: SQASI/CMCS/1/22/0013, main content as follows:
In line with the requirement stipulated in 5G Technical Codes MCMC MTSFB TC T016:2021 published on 24th August 2021, kindly be reminded that any 5G user equipment that supports Voice over New Radio (VoNR)/ Voice over 5G (Vo5G) shall comply to the requirements stated in 3GPP TS 34.229-5. That being said, applicant is required to submit the test report for evaluation in order to be granted with full approval.
