North Macedonia Issued Regulation for Radio Frequency Usage
On March 21, 2025, North Macedonia’s Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC) introduced a new regulation allowing the use of certain radio frequencies without the need for a usage permit. The regulation aligns with international standards, particularly those set by the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).

Indonesia Updated GSM Regulation
Indonesian DJID recently issued “Keputusan Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Nomor 45 Tahun 2025”, updating technical standards for GSM and IMT-2000 mobile devices. The decree introduces the 850 MHz frequency band for GSM (as below table) and outlines frequency ranges and duplex modes in both GSM and IMT-2000 technologies. This regulation takes effect on August 18, 2025.
