ACMA Issues Updated Cordless Communications Devices Class Licence 2024The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has issued the Radiocommunications (Cordless Communications Devices) Class Licence 2024, effective from September 27, 2024. This licence authorizes cordless communication devices, such as land stations and DECT handsets, to operate in specific frequency bands, including 1.7175-1.7925 MHz, 30.0625-30.3125 MHz, 39.7625-40.25 MHz, and 1880-1900 MHz. Devices must comply with Australian and international standards, including the ARPANSA limits and the ETSI EN 301 406 standard for DECT technology. -
